I know you are probably tired of hearing about my arboreal problems. I know I am tired of tree problems .
In early January, there was a large snowstorm in Ottawa. South of Ottawa, the snow was freezing rain and a Manitoba Maple, a Sugar Maple that my kids planted and the big Pine Tree all lost limbs under a heavy coat of ice and heavy winds.
I spent last Saturday afternoon with my Dad's old McCulloch ProMac 10-10 chainsaw cutting up all the limbs and making big piles of brush.
What a great machine. This was the chainsaw that I left full of gas after the Ice Storm of '98 until 6 years later and it started on the 2nd pull anyway. Did I mention that it is close to 30 years old? It is really a great tool.
Now after all that work, I need to sharpen the chain!
